HOW MY BLOG GOT STARTED:

I started this blog September 2016. I didn’t go to school because I had a gap year. I was bored. When I was younger I always wanted to write about makeup, or make videos about makeup, because I enjoyed reading beautyblogs so much. I decided to finally start my own blog, since I had a lot of free time. It started out being a lifestyle blog where I wrote about my vacation in Italy and about the books I’ve read. My idea was to make my blog a lifestyle blog, to let go of my frustratings of not being in school. Eventually I started writing about makeup. Now my blog is still a ‘lifestyle’ blog, I still write about my life, trips I make but I also post outfits and write about makeup.

TWO PIECES OF ADVICE I HAVE FOR NEW BLOGGERS:

KEEP GOING – In the beginning I had zero readers or subsribers. I was just writing for myself, but there will come people who read and love your blog. Be patient and keep on writing!
DON’T BE AFRAID – I was so scared of telling people about my blog, I was scared of what they would think. But everyone that I’ve told about my blog were so excited, they all liked what I do. And of course there will be people who thinks it’s weird. But don’t let them stop you.
