OMG first off: Yesterday was my one-year blogging anniversary. I totally forgot about it, to be honest, the year has gone by so fast. One year ago, I never expected my blog to be like this. I’m so thankful for all the people that follow me and read my blog, thank you so much!

About the outfit, well college has started, autumn is coming (my favorite season), and around this time I just love to wear comfy big soft sweaters. It’s also still that time of the year that by noon it is just way too warm for a sweater, but oh well at least it’s comfy. So when I saw this sweater at Bershka I just had to get it.  First I saw the pink one, and a friend of mine got the yellow one, and I loved the color so I decided to get both. For me the yellow also just screams autumn, I love it. And it is so big, soft and warm!

For the ultimate comfortable outfit, leggings are the best, but to make it a bit more like I’m not wearing my pj’s, I combined it with this black jeans with gaps at the knees from Primark. The black All Stars with studs are from Converse.  I really like the combination with high All Stars with pants though, need to wear that more often!

I’m really happy with my new sweater(s), they are perfect to wear to early lectures when you just want to lay in your bed, cause they are so comfy!

Thank you all for reading, and again for supporting me and my blog for one year now. I just still can’t believe, it doesn’t feel like a year! I guess time flies when you’re having fun blogging?

Have a lovely day xxx

Denim skirt | OOTD

20170810_142221_00120170810_142224_00120170810_142230_00120170810_14513420170810_152617

It’s been so long since I posted something, I am so sorry. I was busy with working, didn’t really feel like blogging and I also was on vacation with my parents for two weeks. But now I’m back and I’ve finally found the time to blog.

I would like to show you one of my favourite outfits I’ve worn this vacation in the Czech Republic. This day we were visiting the capital Prague.

It was really warm that day, so I was really happy that I chose for my denim skirt. After my little trip to Budapest, I fell in love with my denim dress and decided I needed a skirt too. It’s so comfortable, and as I said in this post too, I never like to wear summer beach clothes in a city, I just don’t feel that’s right, even if it’s boiling hot. The beautiful denim skirt is from Bershka, and I believe it was around 20 euro, so that’s really affordable.

The cute pink top is from H&M, I bought it on sale though, so it was around 7 euro. It’s a bit cropped and fits perfectly with the skirt. I really like the top.

For shoes, I chose my silver Birkenstocks. I thought they went really well with the combination, and they are very comfortable. Sadly they were still quite new, so they gave me some blisters…

The small bag is from Primark, it is so perfect I bring it to almost every occasion where I need a small bag. It looks really small, but it fits a lot.

So that is the outfit. I am planning to write a little blog about my vacation in the Czech Republic, so stay tuned for that.

Have a nice day xxx

Denim Dress 2.0 | OOTD

20170611_155110.jpg

In my Budapest travel diary, you could already see a glimpse of my favorite outfit there. Seriously, I wore this denim dress almost every day.  It’s so comfortable and not too warm when you’re doing a city trip at a sunny destination. Personally, I never like to wear short, revealing, beachy clothes in a city, even though it’s quite hot. So for me, this outfit was perfect!

20170613_13305120170613_14395820170613_16170520170613_144002

The second day I was wearing this outfit I combined it with a black t-shirt. Same shirt, different color. I couldn’t choose, so I bought both. Purchased them at Primark a year ago or so, for under €10 for sure.

The denim dress is from H&M, I bought it on sale last winter for only €20. But denim dresses are everywhere again, I saw a few that look the same at H&M, Berschka, and even Primark!

My shoes are from Nike, the Nike Tanjun in gray. My beloved backpack is from Fjallraven Känken. I bought it in Vietnam, and it’s my favorite backpack. Oh and they match my Nikes. The cat eye sunglasses are also from H&M, again bought on sale, but this time last summer.

I posted an outfit with this denim dress before. You can check it out here. But as I wore it in London in January, while it was freezing cold, I thought it would be fun to share a summer edition of it! Honestly, I like the summer version a bit more 🙂

Thank you so much for visiting, have a nice day!

Summer Flowers | OOTD

20170516_20222420170516_20222920170516_20223720170516_202202

Summer is finally here! For me, that means, light colored jeans, happy colors and lots of flowers. When it’s warmer, of course also skirts without tights, jumpsuits and summer dresses, but as summer in the Netherlands is always a little bit weird is this already a summer outfit for me.

This outfit was for the evening, drinking some cocktails with my friend. That’s why I added a leather jacket to the outfit. The leather jacket is from Primark.

The flower off the shoulder top is from Stradivarius. I bought it last year in the sale. But the off shoulder top is a huge trend again this year so you can find them in most stores! Even though they can be quite annoying to wear (the strap going up bleh), I really love them! They show a little skin, what makes it sexier than a normal t-shirt, but it’s not too naked.

The jeans is a light washed high waisted jeans from Berschka. I mostly only wear high waisted jeans. I like the fit, and as this shirt is a little shorter it’s perfect!

My beige sneakers with a little glitter detail in the back are from Reebok. The color and shape make them quite decent and not as sporty. I like it. 🙂

Hope you liked it! Have a nice and lovely day xxx

Denim Overalls |OOTD

IMG_5675IMG_5687IMG_5683IMG_5684IMG_5679IMG_5693IMG_5698

It’s been such a long time since I posted an outfit! This won’t be the last one, I promise. There are a few more on its way! As you can see, after two months traveling and making basic touristic travel pictures, my outfit posing skills still didn’t improve. The last photo proves the model life is not for me. Oh well…

In the Berlin Shoplog post, I already showed these lovely denim overalls from Primark. Aah, I love it so much. It’s so comfortable and in my opinion, it looks really cute and casual. As I may have mentioned before, I love comfortable and casual clothes. And if it looks nice, well that’s a great advantage.

I combined the denim overalls with a simple pinkish shirt from Bershka. It’s a crop top and a little bit wider, but long enough to fit in the overalls.

For shoes I chose for some black boots with a little heel from Van Haren, to make it a bit more feminine as the pants are quite baggy. Sneakers are also great, to make it extra casual.

My jewelry is all silver toned. Let’s start with the ears. In my, for you guys, left ear I’m wearing an interesting earring from Brandy Melville and a bali hoop that I bought in Cambodia. In the other ear, I’m wearing a ring with a little pendant and the one I got when my ears were pierced.

The necklace is from Tiffany’s & Co. The ring on the left hand was a present that I got in Hanoi, Vietnam for my birthday. The one, on the other hand, is from Swarovski, a present from my grandma for my 18th birthday.

And that’s the outfit! As the weather is getting better, it’s perfect for a spring or a not so hot summer day.

I will try to start blogging more again. I know I haven’t been that active the last 3 months, mostly because I just didn’t have any time. I want to start writing about makeup again, as I missed it so much! Blogposts are on its way 🙂

Thank you so much for visiting! Have a lovely day.

we live by the sun | OOTD

20170517_12042420170517_12040520170517_12041120170517_120421

The sun is finally shining!! What means, sunglasses, sandals, and light colored jeans. I think this outfit is perfect for a warmer spring day. With a delicious bubble tea of course.

The t-shirt is one of my favorites. I bought it in Cambodia and the fabric feels so nice. I really love the print on the shirt, it says: We live by the sun, we feel by the moon. And as the sun is shining, it’s the perfect shirt.

My jeans are from Berschka.  I love the color, and of course that it is high waisted. High waisted jeans are my favorite.

For shoes, I’m wearing these gladiator-inspired sandals from Primark. I bought them a few year ago though, so I don’t think you can get them anymore.

I really love this look. It’s quite simple but I just wanted to share it with you!

Thank you for visiting and have a lovely and sunny day! xxxx

WHAT I BOUGHT IN SE ASIA | Shoplog

Ofcourse I shopped some stuff while I was travelling through Asia. When I left I was like, no I don’t need anything, but eventually somewhere in the end of Vietnam and Cambodia it went wrong and I bought a few things. Well at least I didn’t have to carry it with me from the beginning.

In Thailand I actually only bought an elephant bracelet. It was super cute but sadly I lost the elephant… Oh and I bought this green tiger balm for mosquito bites at 7/11. It really works!

VIETNAM

The first thing I bought in Vietnam (Hanoi) was this ‘fake’ grey Fjallraven Kanken backpack because my own backpack broke down. While I was in Berlin I saw the original ones and I compared that one to mine, and seriously they are the same. Everything. The real one is 85 euro, while mine (real or fake) was only 6 or 8 euro.

wp-image-724969192jpg.jpg

In Hanoi I also bought this super cute Brandy Melville inspired jumpsuit. For Vietnam it was quite ‘expensive’. I believe around 12 euro. But I really love it and wore it a lot already while travelling.

In Sapa there were a lot of cute bracelets, I actually didn’t buy them but got them from Josie and Paulien as a present. And I bought some for my sister.

snapchat-31183478.jpg

I also bought a rose quarts necklace but I will show that in a Cambodia shoplog picture.

For the rest I only bought some souvenirs for my family as magnets, keychains, and a Vietnamese head.

CAMBODIA

Well in Cambodia I was a few times alone where I was like, I want to go shopping let’s go to a market.

The first thing I bought was this touristic Cambodia shirt with a colorfull elephant. Please ignore the touristic Angkor Wat outfit and blue lips from the Fanta in the picture. What I like about the shirt is that it’s 100 % cotton and has a wide fit. That makes it great for temple visits. You’re still dying from the warmth and sweating like crazy, but it would be worse with a thight stretch shirt. It’s comfortable. And it was only 3 dollars.

20170417_081846.jpg

At the same market in Phnom Penh I also bought two pairs of the comfy colorfull shorts. I couldn’t choose so I just bought both… Two pairs for 5 dollars. How ironic that this picture is taken at a market though. What do you mean addicted? (and addicted to Green Tea Matcha Iced Latte yes)

wp-image-2113176590jpg.jpg

Now the necklaces! So in Nha Trang in Vietnam I bought the rose quartz necklace at a night market, and in Phnom Penh in Cambodia I bought this buddistic tree necklace. They look really cute togehter. I quite went for the ultimate hippy backpacker look or something with all my colorfull clothes, sapa bracelets, cool necklaces and henna tattoo. I hope you can see them, because there is quite a lot going on in the selfies. I showered everyday with both necklaces, and only the rose quartz one became a little bit rusty. What also gave it quite a cool look actually.

A while ago I got my second earlobe pierced, right now I’m even thinking about getting a third one in one ear. So I was looking for some cute hoops to accompany my bali hoops in my first earlobe. Right now they have replaced them because my first ones became really black because all of the smog. Well, I found these really cute bigger bali hoops for only 5 dollars! With bargain ofcourse, they all start at like 15 dollar or something. At first I was really bad at it, but my bargain skills evolved.

IMG-20170413-WA0040

Okay now my favorite purchase of my whole trip. This amazing flowy hippie dress. I bought it specially for Angkor Wat because it was boiling hot and you have to cover your shoulders and knees. It was really nice for the temples and it really gave me this cool hippie feeling, and only 8 dollars. Sorry for the overload, but I just love the dress so much.

Because I loved my elephant tshirt so much I decided I wanted another one. They also sold these cute one with the text: ‘We live by the sun, we feel by the moon’ (or maybe the other way around). So I bought another one together with some shirts for my friends. I ended up buying five shirts or something, oops. Well atleast they are only 2 dollars per piece.

20170423_095549

The last thing I bought for myself in Cambodia was this cute daisy jumpsuit. I just had to get it because you know, I am Daisy… I got it for 5 dollars. And it’s adorable and comforable, I love it. Jumpsuits are the best thing ever.

In the end I still ended up with a way too heavy backpack full of clothes that I don’t really need… But I love everything that I bought and I’m really happy with everything!

Ofcourse I also bought some souvenirs for my family and friends as the tshirts, scarfs, magnets, keychains and a little statue of Angkor Wat for my room. I’m happy, my bank account is not so happy. Oh well…

Thank you so much for reading and visiting, hope you have a lovely day!

LONDON OOTD: denim dress

img_4860img_4865img_4868

Another London outfit! yay. It was freezing, but do it for the blog haha. This was at Covent Garden in London. A super cute market, it was so beautiful.

Okay so, I was wearing this super cute denim dress that I found at H&M in the sale. I love it so much! It’s so comfy and different and still warm. Also love how it is a dress, what makes you feel cute and girly, but not overdressed or something. It’s perfect for a casual but girly outfit. And it has pockets!!!!

You can wear what ever shirt/sweater you want to. This time in London I combined it with my grey/black turtleneck shirt from Primark. Originally I planned to wear this with my new green sweater from H&M (what I mentioned in this post), but I liked this shirt more. Back home I already took some pictures with the green sweater, I added these in the end because I still like that combination too. Only, the green sweater is a bit more loose and a tighter shirt under need the dress looks better in my opinion.

For shoes I wore my black over the knee boots again. They are just so warm and comfy. And of course some black warm tights. Other wise my legs would freeze off.

Tell me which combination you liked the most! One or two?

Hope you liked it! Have a nice day 🙂

COMBINATION #2: DENIM DRESS WITH GREEN SWEATER

img_4738img_4741img_4747

LONDON OOTD: team internet

Hi guys,

First off: here is my denim jacket again…..

Okay so this is the outfit that I wore my first day in London! I choose for a comfortable and warm sweater, my denim jacket, a black highwaisted jeans and my black over the knee boots so my ankles wouldn’t get cold. And a black cap to make me extra tourist looking.

My day started very early, I had to be at the airport at 7 in the morning. My grey sweater from H&M was perfect for that, warm and comfortable. The little text saying ‘team internet’ makes it a bit more interesting. I also wanted to bring my denim jacket (of course), but my suitcase was already way too full so I decided to wear it. Extra warm. Black jeans (H&M) match with everything, just as the black boots. My black shiney cap is from H&M too. The little bag is from Primark, it’s perfect for citytrip everything that I need fits in it!

The photos were taken at Buckingham Palace, a beautiful building. We’ve seen already so much in one day. Oxford Street, Westminster Abbey, London Eye and Buckingham Palace. But I will write about that later on in a special London blogpost 🙂

Thank you for visiting, have a nice day!

OOTD: Knitwear & Denim

shoot_20161126_0028shoot_20161126_0029shoot_20161126_0032shoot_20161126_0034

Hi guys,

Haven’t posted a few days now, I was very busy with work (I still am) and thinking. I rememberd that I still had these outfit photos that I made with my dad.

It’s a very casual outfit, but very warm because of the jumper and denim jacket. A friend came with the idea, and it’s so warm! Perfect for those cold winter days.

The denim jacket is from H&M, but I received it from the same friend. The knitted jumper is from Forever21, I bought it a year ago or so. The lace makes it less boring. The black high waisted jeans are from H&M, my favorite. And the black biker boots are from van Haren.

Also really love the background! The photos were taken at StrijpS, there is a whole wall full with graffiti, so coool.

Hope you liked it! Thanks for reading and have a nice day!
