Ofcourse I shopped some stuff while I was travelling through Asia. When I left I was like, no I don’t need anything, but eventually somewhere in the end of Vietnam and Cambodia it went wrong and I bought a few things. Well at least I didn’t have to carry it with me from the beginning.
In Thailand I actually only bought an elephant bracelet. It was super cute but sadly I lost the elephant… Oh and I bought this green tiger balm for mosquito bites at 7/11. It really works!
The first thing I bought in Vietnam (Hanoi) was this ‘fake’ grey Fjallraven Kanken backpack because my own backpack broke down. While I was in Berlin I saw the original ones and I compared that one to mine, and seriously they are the same. Everything. The real one is 85 euro, while mine (real or fake) was only 6 or 8 euro.
In Hanoi I also bought this super cute Brandy Melville inspired jumpsuit. For Vietnam it was quite ‘expensive’. I believe around 12 euro. But I really love it and wore it a lot already while travelling.
In Sapa there were a lot of cute bracelets, I actually didn’t buy them but got them from Josie and Paulien as a present. And I bought some for my sister.
I also bought a rose quarts necklace but I will show that in a Cambodia shoplog picture.
For the rest I only bought some souvenirs for my family as magnets, keychains, and a Vietnamese head.
Well in Cambodia I was a few times alone where I was like, I want to go shopping let’s go to a market.
The first thing I bought was this touristic Cambodia shirt with a colorfull elephant. Please ignore the touristic Angkor Wat outfit and blue lips from the Fanta in the picture. What I like about the shirt is that it’s 100 % cotton and has a wide fit. That makes it great for temple visits. You’re still dying from the warmth and sweating like crazy, but it would be worse with a thight stretch shirt. It’s comfortable. And it was only 3 dollars.
At the same market in Phnom Penh I also bought two pairs of the comfy colorfull shorts. I couldn’t choose so I just bought both… Two pairs for 5 dollars. How ironic that this picture is taken at a market though. What do you mean addicted? (and addicted to Green Tea Matcha Iced Latte yes)
Now the necklaces! So in Nha Trang in Vietnam I bought the rose quartz necklace at a night market, and in Phnom Penh in Cambodia I bought this buddistic tree necklace. They look really cute togehter. I quite went for the ultimate hippy backpacker look or something with all my colorfull clothes, sapa bracelets, cool necklaces and henna tattoo. I hope you can see them, because there is quite a lot going on in the selfies. I showered everyday with both necklaces, and only the rose quartz one became a little bit rusty. What also gave it quite a cool look actually.
A while ago I got my second earlobe pierced, right now I’m even thinking about getting a third one in one ear. So I was looking for some cute hoops to accompany my bali hoops in my first earlobe. Right now they have replaced them because my first ones became really black because all of the smog. Well, I found these really cute bigger bali hoops for only 5 dollars! With bargain ofcourse, they all start at like 15 dollar or something. At first I was really bad at it, but my bargain skills evolved.
Okay now my favorite purchase of my whole trip. This amazing flowy hippie dress. I bought it specially for Angkor Wat because it was boiling hot and you have to cover your shoulders and knees. It was really nice for the temples and it really gave me this cool hippie feeling, and only 8 dollars. Sorry for the overload, but I just love the dress so much.
Because I loved my elephant tshirt so much I decided I wanted another one. They also sold these cute one with the text: ‘We live by the sun, we feel by the moon’ (or maybe the other way around). So I bought another one together with some shirts for my friends. I ended up buying five shirts or something, oops. Well atleast they are only 2 dollars per piece.
The last thing I bought for myself in Cambodia was this cute daisy jumpsuit. I just had to get it because you know, I am Daisy… I got it for 5 dollars. And it’s adorable and comforable, I love it. Jumpsuits are the best thing ever.
In the end I still ended up with a way too heavy backpack full of clothes that I don’t really need… But I love everything that I bought and I’m really happy with everything!
Ofcourse I also bought some souvenirs for my family and friends as the tshirts, scarfs, magnets, keychains and a little statue of Angkor Wat for my room. I’m happy, my bank account is not so happy. Oh well…
Thank you so much for reading and visiting, hope you have a lovely day!
